Climate Change Terminology Glossary
Climate Change Terminology Glossary

The Climate Change Terminology Glossary is a practical tool created by the Certa Foundation’s Center for Climate Justice and Spruik Agency to make climate language accessible for everyone in Rwanda. By offering simplified definitions in both English and Kinyarwanda, it helps communities, educators, journalists, policymakers, and the private sector understand and communicate key climate concepts. The glossary centers justice, equity, and community leadership, bridging the gap between technical climate terms and real-life experiences. This first edition will be updated regularly, and contributions from experts and practitioners are welcomed.
