Our vision is to contribute to a more just and equitable society.

Our mission is realized through the Foundation’s two strategic pillars: The Center for Justice and Advocacy & The Center for Law and Innovation.

Center for Justice and Advocacy

The Center for Justice and Advocacy protects, promotes and preserves sexual and reproductive health rights of women and girls in Rwanda across three holistic programs: Access to Justice for victims of SGBV, Gender Policy Advocacy and Economic Gender Justice.

Center for Law and Innovation

The Center for Law and Innovation promotes the coexistence between law and innovation as a driver for sustainable development, with a focus on three complementary programs: Research & Knowledge Development, Startup Empowerment and Professional Development.

Our work is underpinned by the following sustainable development goals

News & Publications

On 06th August, the Center for Justice and Advocacy at Certa Foundation, in collaboration with The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, recently hosted a transformative two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) in Kirehe District. The training focused on strengthening institutional responses to Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) and advancing a more survivor-centered justice system.

Effective victim protection in Rwanda requires understanding the current prevalence of gender-based violence (GBV), the institutional architecture for responding to cases, and the pathways through which survivors seek support.
