On November 26, 2024, in partnership with Kvinna till Kvinna and in collaboration with the Executive of Nyabihanga Sector, Rwamagana District, Center for Justice and Advocacy, on behalf of Certa Foundation, represented by its pro bono lawyer, Me. Harerimana Euphrasieh, visited 67 teen and single mothers in the sector.

On November 19, 2024, Certa Foundation, in partnership with Kvinna till Kvinna, hosted a key stakeholder meeting in Kigali, Rwanda, focused on “The Role and Risk of Technology in Combating and Facilitating GBV.”

On November 12, 2024, Certa Foundation’s Center for Justice and Advocacy in partnership with Kvinna till Kvinna, successfully held a consultative meeting, under the theme “Assessment of the Challenges Faced by GBV Victims in Accessing Justice and Exploring Specialized GBV Chambers in Rwanda.”

On November 4, 2024, the Center for Justice and Advocacy in partnership with Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation, concluded a year-long series of GBV (Gender-Based Violence) training for justice sector actors.

After a successful event in Lagos and Abuja, the DPO Hangout magic was brought to Kigali. Hosted at the Digital Transformation Center Rwanda, the event was organized in partnership with the African Law & Tech Network, Tech Hive Advisory, and GIZ Rwanda.

Certa Foundation was invited to participate in the 10th Justice, Reconciliation, Law, and Order Sector (JRLOS) Peer Review Retreat, held on October 28-29, 2024, at the EPIC Hotel in Nyagatare District.

On October 24th & 25th, 2024, The Certa Foundation had the privilege of participating in the "Frontiers in Digital Child Safety" meeting, a hybrid event organized by the Technical University of Munich (TUM), in collaboration with scholars from the University of Zurich and the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society. This event convened leaders and practitioners in digital safety for a two-day discussion on "On-Device Approaches to Intervene When Conduct and Contact Risks Occur" and "Design Approaches that Foster Trust" for safer digital experiences for children.
