CLI x JASIRI: Training the Ntore Cohort

The Center for Law and Innovation (CLI), in partnership with JASIRI, delivered an intensive two-day training session for the Ntore cohort, equipping over 40 founders with the legal and ethical tools essential for building resilient, high-integrity ventures.
The program offered in-depth practical guidance on key aspects of startup formation. A key feature was a dedicated session on shareholders’ agreements and shareholder relations, designed to help founders understand how to structure ownership, protect their interests, and align stakeholder expectations from the outset.
Another highlight of the training was an interactive negotiation workshop, where participants engaged in real-world scenarios to develop practical skills for securing favorable deals and building strong, strategic partnerships.
The training also featured a session on ethics tailored specifically to founders and early-stage businesses, promoting reflection on values-based leadership, long-term accountability, and the ethical considerations that shape decision-making in the startup journey.
By integrating legal expertise with practical skill-building, CLI and JASIRI empowered the Ntore cohort with the tools to launch and lead businesses grounded in robust legal structures, strategic alignment, and principled leadership.
