Advancing Women’s Rights through Policy Alignment

On October 22–23, 2025, the Center for Justice and Advocacy (CJA) participated in a two-day workshop organized by HAGURUKA under the theme “Aligning Women’s Priorities with the National Strategy for Transformation (NST2)” at Grand Legacy Hotel, Kigali.

The workshop brought together members of the Rwanda Women’s Alliance, representatives from civil society, and other key stakeholders to review the NST2 and assess the extent to which women’s priorities have been incorporated into the national development agenda. Discussions focused on strengthening the alignment of interventions by women’s organizations with national priorities and identifying strategies to enhance collective advocacy for advancing women’s rights in Rwanda.

The Center for Justice and Advocacy remains committed to contributing to inclusive policy dialogues that promote gender equality and ensure women’s voices are meaningfully integrated into national transformation processes.
